Communication
When you register for Buy Sell Serve we are the only ones that see your contact information. communication between you and the customer is done through the messaging app. During this transaction you are able to share other forms of communication such as your phone number and email address. We collect email address only to provide you with notification that you have anew message.
City & State
This will be system defaults for your account. When you post a product or service these city and state parameters are associated with every post. when you post you will be able to override this value with an area specific to the post in case you are posting for another region. This regionalized content is important for customers looking for local products and services.
Commissions
The service is free to post, free to communicate with customers. If you choose not to pay the commissions we simply prioritize the others that do. The longer that you use the platform without contribution the less your posts are displayed.
- We recommend that you add 5-10% to products and services under $100.
- 3-6% to under $1000 and
- 1-2% for items over $1000.
When you item sells or a customer signs up for services you send that percentage to us through the "tip jar". Customers that maintain this level of participation will receive benefits from the system such as higher rankings across the platform for all terms. With that higher ranking more product and service views. We will highlight you as a "Super User". You will have more control over your presentation in the system.
